Vedic Meditation:
Dhyana, Pranayama & Mantra
Go beyond stress-relief apps and guided audio — learn the complete Vedic science of meditation as taught in the Upanishads, Yoga Sutras and Mandukya tradition. Master Pranayama, Trataka, Mantra Japa, Nada Yoga and silent Dhyana. Taught by Yogacharya Anand Mishra over 8 structured weeks.
📖 Course Overview
Modern "meditation" apps offer guided relaxation — but ancient Vedic tradition offers something far more profound: a complete science of consciousness. The Vedic tradition defines Dhyana not as a technique but as a state — the unbroken flow of mind toward the object of meditation. Getting to that state requires systematic preparation through body, breath, and mantra.
तदा द्रष्टुः स्वरूपेऽवस्थानम्॥
This course builds your practice from the ground up: beginning with understanding the Pancha Kosha model (five sheaths of being), moving through Pranayama (breath regulation), Pratyahara (withdrawal of senses), Dharana (concentration), and finally Dhyana proper. Six classical techniques are taught — each drawn from a different Vedic or Upanishadic tradition — so you can find the practice that resonates most deeply with your nature.
Unlike apps, this course also addresses the obstacles to meditation — Vikshipta mind, dullness, restlessness, emotional turbulence — and gives you specific counter-practices from Patanjali and the Yoga Vasistha. By Week 8, students consistently report reduced anxiety, improved sleep, and the first genuine experiences of Pratyahara.

"I have been recommending mindfulness apps to patients for years. After taking this course, I understand the difference between technique and tradition. The Pancha Kosha framework gives a complete map of the mind that no modern psychology text matches. I am now integrating Pranayama and Trataka into my clinical practice. Yogacharya Anand's explanations are precise, grounded and never mystical — exactly what a doctor needs."
"I tried 11 meditation apps before this course. None of them worked for more than 2 weeks. Week 3 of this course — the Trataka session — was the first time I experienced genuine one-pointedness. Something shifted. I have been meditating 45 minutes every morning since then, 4 months straight. This is the real thing."
"As a yoga teacher I already knew asana well, but my pranayama and meditation knowledge had gaps. This course filled every gap. The section on Kumbhaka (breath retention) alone is worth the entire course. Yogacharya explains the physiological and yogic mechanisms simultaneously — so you understand what you are doing and why. I now teach my students with far more depth and confidence."
"I had chronic insomnia for 8 years. Nothing worked — not medication, not CBT, not mindfulness. A friend suggested this course. The Yoga Nidra session in Week 5 was the first time I fell asleep within 20 minutes in years. I now do 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra before bed every night. I sleep 7 hours. My anxiety has halved. I am not exaggerating when I say this course changed my life."
