The Moral Compass

Ethics & Values धर्म · नीति

Dharma, ahimsa, satya and seva — a moral compass for the individual, the family and the world.

Overview

The compass that guides a life

At the centre of Indian thought stands Dharma — not merely 'religion' but the right way of living: duty, truth and harmony held in balance. It asks not only 'what do I want?' but 'what is right?'.

From this flow the great values — ahimsa (non-harm), satya (truth), seva (selfless service) — and a mature view of life's four aims. These are the values Vedanvesha carries from the page into practice.

अहिंसा परमो धर्मः । Ahiṃsā paramo dharmaḥ “Non-violence is the highest virtue.” — Mahabharata
